INDIVIDUAL DISSIMILARITIES
INTRODUCTION
While teachers, we should be aware of regarding students' person differences such as differences in culture, ethnicity, smart, languages, learning styles, and so forth It is because it may enhance students' understanding or limit all their opportunity to study from the school environment. These factors should be taken into consideration when we strategy teaching and learning process in the classroom.
We begin by discussing the definition of cultural range and other elements that contribute to students' variety. Next, we all examine the differences of learning styles and cognitive styles among college students. This is followed by the explanation of gender variations that impact the students' performance. In the final area of this chapter, we can discuss how teachers can cope with the person differences efficiently in the educating and learning process.

Definition of Social Diversity
In accordance to Garcia, Culture identifies:
" …Characteristics of an individual's society, or of several subgroups in this particular society. It provides values, philosophy, notions about acceptable and unacceptable behaviour, and other socially constructed suggestions that people of the traditions are trained are " true”. ”

Henson & Eller (1999, p121) posit that the term diversity indicate:
" …Those human attributes that have the potential to either enrich or perhaps limit a student's capacity to learn from the school environment. ” Henson & Eller (1999, p121)
While Borich & Tombari (1997. p29) posit that:
" Individual distinctions are the variants we watch among members of any group in a particular characteristic, such as character, energy level, companionship patterns and parent-child add-on. ”

PERSON DIFFERENCES
In Malaysia we now have different contests such as the
Malays, Chinese, Indians and others as illustrated in
Figure 7. 1 . Each of the races has their own own lifestyle.
Culture is known as a broad and encopassing principle. Even though
we all equate tradition with contest or cultural identity, the
truth is that within ethnic or ethnic groups right now there can
always be cultural versions.
