This project was assigned within the course " Principles of promoting (MKT201)” in the program Bachelor in Business Operations (BBA) to publish a report. The report entitled " Promoting Plan of Igloo Ice Cream Bangladesh” can be submitted to fulfill the purpose. 1b. Objective in the Report:
Main objective of the report was going to evaluate the marketing plan of AML group's Igloo Ica cream in Bangladesh to determine the advertising plan specifically consumer habit, segmentation, placement, product approach, pricing technique, distribution approach, budgeting etc . We also tried to find out some recommendation for this. 1c. Methodology:
We used extra data to arrange our report. Besides, the seniors helped us a lot to make anything smoothly. All of us mainly used information from internet, magazine, advertisements and so forth
2 . Company/product profile:
Bangladesh ice-cream sector is growing. Igloo is the most significant player in branded prevalent format goodies segment below. It started its procedure in 1964 in Chittagong under E Rahman & Co. Limited (KRC) having a small manufacturer inside Coca Cola bottling factory of KRC. After in 1983, Abdul Monem Limited purchased the entire development setup of KRC Limited including Pepsi bottling grow and Igloo ice-cream factory and the developing operations extended in Chittagong until 1990. Later, the main share went to Dhaka. A fresh factory was established in Shampur Industrial Area, in Dhaka to fulfill the market demand. Currently, Abdul Monem Limited uses the state of the art-straight-line technology for ice cream production. That they first presented this technology in the South East Asia to make ice cream. That produces almost 20, 000litre ice cream and distributes throughout the whole region. Now it is the industry leader having more than 51% share (AML Group, 2013). They have a 12, 000 gifted and highly skilled workforce at this point, caring by what they generate and in the manner, they produce them ensuring safety and security of workers and safeguarding their health and well being. As a company and as persons we as well take great pride in causing the community and society as a whole through lively corporate sociable responsibility and engagement. At present, AML groups have three product lines-
